Agostini mountain refuge - Pedrotti mountain refuge

This stage goes through particular charming and appealing scenarios, passing along the slopes of the Val d'Ambiez first and then coming close to the Pozza Tramontana, a 200 meters deep karstic gorge, more than one kilometer long. To reach the refuge Pedrotti you must skirt the edges of Pozza, doing a slalom between huge fallen rocks and equipped exposed passages.

Technical description: Under the Refuge S. Agostini there is the trail Sentiero Basso "Elio Palmieri" SAT 320 (E), not hard and interesting for the view, that crosses the amphitheater of Alta Val d'Ambiez and goes up to Forcolotta of Noghera (2423 meters) on an easy ups and downs trail. You continue on the trail that from Forcolotta goes towards the Alta Val di Ceda, it goes down slightly and runs along the deep karstic hollow of Pozza Tramontana. The path goes around the huge Pozza Tramontana without touching its bottom and it rises at the foot of Cima Brenta Bassa, where it meets the junction with the trail SAT 358 (EEA - D). You follow the path SAT 358 (EEA - D) that in 30 minutes leads to the Rifugio Pedrotti and Tosa (2491 meters). Total walking time Rifugio S. Agostini - Rifugio Pedrotti Tosa: 2h30m
