Canoeing on the Mera river

A descent on a beautiful stretch of the river Mera, that flows in Val Chiavenna and into the Lake Mezzola, where you can paddle in the company of beautiful swans that inhabit its shores.

Technical description:
The river is not very difficult if you embark in Ponte Nave (below the bridge). A series of small rapids makes the descent intense and fun.

Technical Tips:
Although the path is easy, never underestimate the river. Bring a throwing rope, a cow-tail and a change of clothes kept away from water.
