It is one of the most suggestive canyoning path in North Italy. In Trentino, along the Chiese’s Valley, the Palvico creek offer a concentrate of adrenaline, fun and unique adventure.
Neither too hard, nor too bland, really suitable for everyone. A natural aquatic park set in the gorges carved by water, between water slides, jumps, breathtaking passages and let down to 50 meters! Fun for all ages.
During downhill into these ravines there are points where you can walk in the river, places where you can swim, slip and jump and where you can be descended with a rope by the guide. Anyhow, jumps and slips are never required and you can always choose to be descended.
The only way you can face this path is wearing mountain equipment for gorge: ropes, abseiling equipment, helmet, harness and wetsuit with booties. If you haven't a sufficient experience in rope maneuvers, it's necessary an Alpine Guide to be accompanied.
Recommended period: since June to end September
The Palvico creek is an emissary of the small Lake Ampola and it flows into the river Chiese, in Trentino. Flowing towards the town of Storo, it turns into a canyon: an ideal destination for many canyoning fans. The most interesting feature of its course are the caves dug by water erosion, which create jumps and dips, to the beautiful final waterfall of over 50 meters.
