A beautiful multistage journey to discover Basilicata, a discreet and wild land, crossing the region from the Tyrrhenian coast of Maratea to the Ionian coast of Policoro.
A long 350-km ride immersing oneself in Lucania’s diverse territories, nestled between sea and mountains: from the wild Pollino mountain range rich in beech forests and centuries-old loricate pines to the literary parks of poets and writers, from the hills sculpted by gullies to the white beaches overlooking the sea. Then rivers, lakes and numerous quaint villages, a priceless heritage of good taste, hospitality and traditions.

Technical advice:
The route is of great scenic interest, ideally divided into 6 stages that can be modified according to personal needs: Maratea-Rotonda; Rotonda-Senise; Senise-Tursi; Tursi-Stigliano; Stigliano-Pisticci; Pisticci-Policoro.
The 2nd stage can be divided into two parts, stopping to sleep at Rifugio Fasanelli, an excellent base for excursions around Pollino.
