On a bike, chasing the truffle

A beautiful bike ride that starts from the State Nature Reserve of Gola del Furlo, it passes from Acqualagna, the 'Truffle Capital' - where every year between October and November there is the "National Fair of white truffle" - and finally it arrives in Cagli.

Technical description:
A 14 km long route on paved roads with little traffic. It starts from Gola del Furlo (PU) towards south along an old stretch of Via Flaminia. You get to Acqualagna, following the course of the Candigliano river. Always along the old SS Flaminia north route, you pass the little towns of Smirra and Ponte Rosso. After a couple of kilometers, you will reach Cagli.

Technical tips:
This path does not require a particular clothing. Chance to find water along the way. It is recommend to always wear a helmet, compulsory for children.
