The Etruscan Coast - Medium

This path offers moments dedicated to gastronomy, culture, entertainment and sport. It takes place in a typical Tuscan landscape: you pass through towns full of history, you run along the Tyrrhenian sea and you immerse yourself  in the uncontaminated green of the hills of Pisa-Livorno.

Technical description:
The cycle route is 106 Km long, it starts and ends in the historical town of Rosignano Marittimo, in the province of Livorno.
From the Tuscan town you proceed towards the sea and the beaches. You travel  along the coastal stretch between the headlands of Castiglioncello and Quercianella, and then you go towards the hinterland in the direction of Santa Luce (you must see the Natural Reserve) and the Pisan hills.
After passing the hills and passing through the Etruscan villages of Pomaia and Castellina Marittima, you continue going south with the long descent to San Martino.
After a loop tour, on provincial and secondary roads, which touches Casino di Terra, Guardistallo and Montescudaio (a climb of 4 km), you go up the valley to north-west towards Rosignano.
