Suggestive itinerary surrounded by greenery, which starts from the city center of Vicenza and develops among the natural environments at the foot of the Berici Hills. Along the way we encounter international monuments designed by the hand of Andrea Palladio.
Lake Fimon, at 35,000 years old, is the oldest Lake Fimon in northern Italy and receives water from all the small streams around it. Flora and fauna are typical of the area, and lookout points allow herons and other birds to be observed while fishing or resting.
Technical description:
The route does not present great technical difficulties as it proceeds along well-trodden bike paths or dirt roads. There are water fountains and refreshment stations along the route, as well as any bicycle mechanics.
Be a little careful as you leave the bike path, crossing the Riviera Berica road to enter the correct path leading to Lake Fimon.
