Suggestive loop tour for gravel bikes, discovering the peculiarities of the Piedmont area of Villar San Costanzo, home of the Ciciu Nature Reserve.
Technical description:
From the village you will pedal on forest roads, through chestnut forests and tackle single tracks among the orchards characteristic of the many hamlets that make up the municipality of Roccabruna.
Before returning to Villar San Costanzo, the ancient medieval village of Dronero is worth a visit, with its cultivated terraces, ancient walls, and water canals serving the old mill, which is still functioning.
The tour is on asphalt and dirt roads; there are no complicated technical passages. Steep climbs and descents are absolutely rideable and manageable, both with gravel bikes and front MTBs.
