Home » Snowshoeing in the Apennines: from Lagastrello Pass to Sarzana Refuge
Beautiful snowshoeing in the pristine and silent setting of the Lagastrello Pass, on the border between the provinces of Massa Carrara, Parma and Reggio Emilia.
In almost two hours, from the Pass you reach the small City of Sarzana Refuge at the foot of Mount Acuto, a unique place for the beauty of the landscapes and the sparse attendance. A snowshoe hike inside the forest, among the least known in the area but absolutely fascinating.
