The itinerary that unfolds in the Macchia delle Tassinete of Cingoli, in the province of Macerata, gives a true immersion in the green. It is a great approach to this area, crisscrossed by a dense network of trails and mule tracks that promise fun for both experienced and novice bikers. There is no shortage of superb panoramic views.
The route is a loop of about 15 km, easy and walkable in both directions, also suitable for hiking and trail running.

Technical description:
The“Forum” rest area can be reached from Cingoli by car or bicycle after 5 km on the asphalt road of the provincial road to San Severino. From the forecourt, take the paved road that climbs to the right of the tunnel, a few hundred meters and you will reach the Villa Tassinete intersection where you take the left, still on paved road.
After about 1 km of ascent take the path that enters the forest on the left, at the fork keep right. You descend to a new fork (turn right), an up and down and meet another fork. Here you turn left still downhill to the next lay-by where you continue straight ahead. From the stopping point, in 2 kilometers you return to the “Forum”

Technical tips:
Theroute is great for beginners, but it also allows the more experienced to have fun and explore an area that has many areas that are also technical and challenging. The bottoms are compacted dirt with short patches of imbrecciata. At about km. 8, watch out for boulders and drainage ditches.
