Tour of the Spur – MULTITAPPA
Mountain biking among the natural and artistic beauty of Gargano, Apulia. A 250-km bike tour, divided into four stages, to discover the “Spur of Italy,” one of the most important tourist hubs in the south of the country.
The route is easy, within everyone’s reach, flat with a few undemanding climbs. We traverse an evocative and varied nature, straddling the Adriatic coast full of beautiful caves and the green forests of the Gargano promontory.
From Manfredonia, the southern ‘gateway’ to the Gargano National Park, we ‘circumnavigate’ the “Spur”, passing internationally renowned towns such as Vieste and Peschici, to the lagoons of Varano and Lesina Lakes, finally reaching the Tavoliere delle Puglie.
Between obligatory stops in characteristic villages, the route flows by quickly, immersed in the nature and history of a truly unique corner of Puglia.
